This is how it all started. First a small extract batch, then another. Then we thought, heck we can start steeping grains. The next thing we know we’re rolling in kegs, a commercial coolers, the works. We quickly realized that our beer wasn’t half bad. Hell, it was actually really good! Our double IPA even won the first Annual Orcutt Brew Festival and Challenge. A blind test I might add.
The other fortunate side effect were all the people. Soon all of our friends and their friends seem to just know when we were brewing. I can’t think of the last time we brewed in Orcutt were it didn’t turn into a full fledged BBQ and party.
