Our initial plan is to launch five beers that will be available year round. None of us at Barrelhouse are big fans of “seasonal beer.” Maybe it’s because we are located on the central coast so we don’t really have four seasons. We do, however plan to brew bigger, more complex beers throughout the year inspired by our beautiful surroundings. People can call them seasonal beers or whatever they want, but we’re pretty sure that they will taste just as delicious in spring as they do in summer.
Initially, we plan to self distribute our beers in bottles and kegs. We will also sell our beers at our onsite taproom. We plan to continue to produce small run pilot batches on a regular basis to experiment with new ingredients and test out new recipes. These specialty batches will initially be featured only in our tasting room so stop by, try them out and give us your feedback. After all, this beer is for you and you should have a say as to how it should taste.
