SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE SESSION IPA - NEW ZEALAND HOPS

This session IPA hybrid was brewed with Ale and Lager yeast, and loads of Southern Hemisphere hops; delivering a refreshing character of a classic Lager with the intense aroma of Rakau hops. These New Zealand varietal hops are bursting with apricot, plum, mango, and pear. Think big aroma, with low bitterness and alcohol. FRENEMIES - BRETT SAISON

Frenemies is a "collaboration" between our Brewmaster, George, and Sour Beer purveyor, Larry. These passionate individuals believe in two entirely different brewing styles. Each amazing in their own right, but fundamentally different. Surprisingly, after months of dead-end conversations and some shady shenanigans, they somehow settled on a unique, delicious, and incredibly drinkable Belgian Brett Saison. Styled after a classic European Belgian Saison and aged with Brettanomyces Claussenii, this beer is extremely dry and effervescent with delicate layers of yeast esters and tropical brett characters. In the end, these two managed to look past their differences and create a beer that all of us can't get enough of, and we think you'll agree. Stop by the taproom and grab a Frenemies Brett Saison and listen for the grunts and scoffs from these two as they pass each other on the brew deck.

CASHMERE HAZY IPA

Cashmere Hazy IPA is fermented with one of our favorite farmhouse yeast strains, the Kveik Hornindal, from Norway and dry hopped with 4lbs/bbl of Cashmere Hops. The Kveik presents amazing pineapple and guava notes while the Cashmere hops accentuate the tropical flavors with its kaleidoscope of fruit aromas ranging from orange zest to Riesling to peach.

CHERRY COFFEE IMPERIAL SOUR

Cherry Coffee Imperial Sour began its life as a beautiful Belgian quad. Then, we added Brettanomyces and aged it in medium toasted oak for two years until the flavor profile was exactly right. Rich cherries and cocoa nibs added next during a final fermentation and finished with cold steeped Ethiopian coffee from Dark Nectar of Atascadero. As you may have noticed, we don't take the creation of our sours lightly. We scrutinize every step of the process, even if it takes three years. Stop by your favorite BarrelHouse taproom and immerse your palette in a cornucopia of cherry complexity, rich chocolate, and light fruity coffee roast all topped off with a Luxardo Cherry.
